May 31, 2000 From CDNow's Allstar News: Tommy Lee Explains Himself, Sort Of May 31, 2000, 8:35 am PT Methods of Mayhem Through MCA Records, the label home of Methods of Mayhem, rocker Tommy Lee has reported he is "eager to cooperate with the court's rulings." In a statement released Wednesday (May 31), MCA reports that it was Pamela Anderson Lee who snitched on her on-again, off-again husband, reporting to District Attorneys in the case that she and Lee shared a glass of champagne last New Year's Eve. As a result, Lee spent five days in Los Angeles County jail over Memorial Day weekend before being released on Tuesday (allstar, May 30). The statement continued, "[Lee] will continue to abide by the rules of his probation. Not once since Lee had submitted himself to court-ordered drug testing has he ever tested positive for drugs or alcohol." These new legal troubles for Lee will in no way interfere with Methods of Mayhem's summer stint on Ozzfest 2000, according to MCA. -- Kevin Raub May 30, 2000 Tommy is a free man and ready to hit Europe for the festival dates!
