With Tommy Lee, there is "Never a Dull Moment" ......
Review By Tracy Stevens

When I was invited to hear clips from Tommy Lee's upcoming release "Never a Dull Moment" (due out in stores everywhere on May 21st) I didn't know what to expect. When Tommy left Motley, I have to admit, I was a little disappointed. When I heard the Methods of Mayhem cd, I was a little surprised. I truly wasn't expecting it to be what it was, nevertheless, I liked it. Now sitting here listening to the clips from the forthcoming CD, I am truly in awe.

My first choice from the list of song teases was "Afterglow". It has the hip-hop hard-core rock feel that will definitely sell some records. I then chose to listen to "Ashamed" and the gears switched so fast, it nearly gave me whiplash. It is hard, but melodic, and really sets a mood for what Tommy had in his head while writing this song, and is an incredible demonstration of his vocal talent. "Higher" is another one I really should mention, it is a hard edged and in your face track, that is sure to be a favorite of heavy rock radio. I should say that I listened to all of the songs that were offered to me, and I could go on all day and write a short book about each one, but I am sure I would start sounding redundant. Every CD has a favorite track, right? Well this CD is no exception, the track being "Hold Me Down". Using music as a true form of expression, Tommy has given us a small look into what a talent for songwriting he really has, and again, I have to say that he is truly a great singer. Though a mellow tune, "Hold Me Down" stood right up and smacked me in the face, and that my friends, is a what makes a song into a "favorite" song.

In closing, Tommy Lee-Never a Dull Moment is the first release this year that I can honestly say I am looking forward to. This is a CD destined to be a regular resident of my 5 disc changer. SBM seriously recommends and supports this release.
