From CDNOW's Allstar:
Tommy Lee Plays Love Interest In Joydrop Video
Tommy Lee has a new love interest.
The former Motley Crue drummer/current Methods of Mayhem kingpin made his first guest appearance in a
music video this weekend when he dropped onto the set of Joydrop's video shoot.
The shoot, held on a soundstage in Hollywood on Friday (June 8) and Saturday (June 9), was for the song "Sometimes
Wanna Die," from Joydrop's forthcoming GGGarth-produced album, Viberate, which is due July 17 on Tommy Boy
Records.
In the futuristic video, directed by Scott Winig, Lee plays the love interest of singer Tara Slone in which
they act out the various emotions talked about in the song, including lust and anger. Lee and the band were
introduced through their managers, according to a spokesperson for Joydrop.
Meanwhile, Joydrop can be seen on Monday (June 11) at the Shelter in Detroit; June 28 at Dancin' in the District
in Nashville; June 29 at On the Bricks in Atlanta; and July 1 at Molson Park in Barrie, Ontario. A full tour kicking
off in July is expected to be announced shortly.
